trout season preparations

well today is pretty much sucks... all i can look foreward to is trout season on friday. I am suppost to have a game that day but snow is in the forecast. i dont think we will be playing baseball in the snow. Saturday we are suppost to have a game too maybe that one will be on. I  definatly have to do some fishing friday before school. it gets light out around 630 so that gives me about an hour to hit some holes on the way to school. Sunday i am planning on going fishin in davenport on the charlot. i kno some good spots there were last year we pulled out some nice 20+ inchers.

This week i need to get my regular light weight pole out and string some new line on it. and get all my fly fishing stuff together. i also need to make sure i have enough lures. i am also going to try to hit them hard with salted minnows and my ultra light pole. last year i was standing in the creek with my waders, opened my dry fly box and watched almost all of them float down the river right in front of me. it was a very sad sight to see all those little nymphs that took so long to tie just float down the river. i wonder if any lunkers hit them? Well i hope you all are going to be ready for Friday because i sure am.
